Recently on a road trip from the UK to Latvia we stopped off in Eindhoven in eastern Netherlands. Looking for a place to stay, I managed to grab a very last minute deal to stay at the Hotel NH Collection Eindhoven. For us the hotel was in a really ideal location, ten minute drive from the main highway (on a clear road), car parking in a multi-storey car park at a shopping centre (known as the Heuvel) which is a couple minutes walk away from the hotel and was easy to find in general. This is our experience of our stay and why we recommend a stay at the Hotel NH Collection Eindhoven.

Located on Vestdijk, a few minutes walk south from the train station, the hotel is located in a multi-storey building next to an entertainment complex. Walking through the doors I noticed how beautiful, spacious and clean the lobby was before being welcomed by the front of house staff who were very helpful to us during check in. Check in took a couple of minutes and was very swift.

We were located on the third floor and managed to get a family suite room. This is a very large spacious room where there is a very comfortable double bed by the window and a huge sofa bed for Amelie in the lounge area of the room. There was also plenty of space to put a crib (cot) for Isabella in the room which was really ideal for us. There is a work desk which separates the bedroom part to the lounge part of the room and there are two televisions in the room. There was plenty of storage space for luggage, a mini-bar, as well as all the usual amenities. My favourite being the WIFI, it was free (after a quick registration) and had a very good and fast service in all parts of the building. The washroom again was spacious, powerful shower and plenty of space around the sink to put items on.
There is also a gym and meeting rooms in the hotel (which we didn’t use) however we did have a splendid breakfast on the top floor. From here we got amazing views of Eindhoven and got to see the main buildings and nearby stadium from up here. The staff were very helpful with us in the restaurant and provided us with items when we needed them (as we stayed during the time of Covid-19). The food tasted delicious and offered a range of hot food, cereals, cold meats and cheese, continental and even chocolate cake (which I did have a slice as it was my birthday). There was definitely no complaints about the food here.

Readers can book the hotel directly through their website here.
A personal note from me – my time at the Hotel NH Collection Eindhoven was paid for by myself and was not sponsored in anyway by the company. The opinions in this post are my own and are totally honest. I would like to thank the staff for making my family’s short stay here an enjoyable one.
